Manifesting Monica Jones (preview) by PJ Starr (Monica Jones &

Filmmaker in attendance)

After being arrested, Monica Jones challenges the constitutionality

of AZ laws limiting her freedom of expression and sexuality. This

is a decision that changes her world and propels her to redefine

her personhood and place in society.

Lilith Rising (preview) by Maria Beatty (Filmmaker and cast in 

attendance) A queer retake of the tale of Lilith, and a tribute to

all of the outcasts who fought (and are still fighting) for the rights

we have today, and to change this broken system.

 

I was a Teenage Prostitute by Juliana Piccillo (Filmmaker in

attendance) A diary about coming of age in a suburban massage

parlor in a small town in the 1980s.

Family Matters by Sex Workers Project, Urban Justice Center

(Stars in Attendance) An exploration of the ways various sex

workers define family and navigate their closest relationships.

The Sewers of Heterosexuality by Marianne Chargois (France)

Marianne Chargois documents her practice from the inside. Taking

as a starting point the fetishes she practices most with the

clients - enemas, fist fucking, and urethral probes, she develops an

analysis of toxic and dominant masculinities and their possible

subversions. She shares her vision of sex work as a place of

economic autonomy and empowerment of minorities. Between

documentary, obscenity and analysis of practices, the video art,

The Sewers of Heterosexuality is a love manifesto to all ho’s of the

world.

All of Me by Josie Hess & Morgana Muses (Australia)

Melinah is a sex worker, camgirl and activist with cerebral palsy.

This short, intimate documentary explores her work, philosophy,

and the intersections of her identity.

Fuck The Fascism by Maria Basura (Argentina) 

In Rio Grande, Tierra del Fuego, the Selk'nam descendant Marcos                                        García tells the horrific story of ethnocide of the Fuegian peoples.                                        Maria Basura and other activists decide to take a revenge

Is Friendship Legal by Zoe Cat

A short about the SESTA-FOSTA laws passed in 2018

and how it affects the sex work community. Three friends who

happen to be sex workers go to Las Vegas and illuminate the

nuances of how this law affects every day sex workers. Filmed and

edited entirely by sex workers on an iPhone.

Rated X by Nadia Louis-Desmarchais (Czech Republic)

Rated X, a short documentary about the adult industry, focuses

on giving a voice to the pornographic actresses working within it.

In a perspective of showing how these women empower

themselves with their job, Rated X exposes the porn industry as it

has rarely been done before.

Sex(ual) Healing by Sex Workers Project/Urban Justice Center (USA)

The first episode of a nuanced docuseries that shows the diversity

of sex work, the harmful impact of existing laws, and how we talk

about criminality, sex and consent.
